Jean Grey or Jean Grey Summers is a fictional character from Marvel comics universe. She is the younger daughter of history professor John Grey and his wife Elaine, and was 10 years old when her mutant telepathic powers first manifested after experiencing the emotions of a dying friend. Her parents took her to be treated by Professor Charles Xavier.

She has been depicted as a founding member of the X-Men. Jean Grey has been known under the aliases Marvel Girl, Phoenix, and Dark Phoenix. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in The X-Men #1.

She was born with telepathic and telekinetic powers. Her powers first manifested when she saw her childhood friend being hit by a car. She is a caring, nurturing figure, but she also has to deal with being an Omega-level mutant and the physical manifestation of the cosmic Phoenix Force.

I used pencil to lay down the rough outlines, gel pen to ink and ballpoint pen to render.
